John is a managing director within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, serving as chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs Asset Management Fund Services Ltd, the Irish-based UCITS management company and alternative investment fund manager. Previously, he was head of Real Estate Asset Management for the UK and Ireland within the private markets investing business of Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
Prior to joining the Goldman Sachs, John worked for Alvarez and Marsal as a director in the bank restructuring team, covering Europe, which included advisory assignments in European and Central banks. Earlier in his career, he worked in corporate banking roles on both the lending and restructuring sides of the business.
John earned a BA, with honors, in Accounting and Finance from the University of Glamorgan, Wales. He is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
